Hunger & Starvation Myth #2: 

There is not enough food for everyone.

 

The world produces more than enough food for everyone and, if we act wisely, can continue to do so for future generations. Ending hunger is not only a moral imperative, but a practical necessity.  Ending hunger is central to resolving an entire nexus of issues, such as population growth, civil unrest and environmental destruction, that will increasingly threaten the quality of life for everyone.
